The ideal candidate can interpret technical drawings and blueprints, inspect welds for structural integrity, and work safely in potentially hazardous environments.</p><h3><u><strong>Qualifications:</strong></u></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred</li><li>Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Prior forklift operation or general labor experience preferred</li><li>Moderate understanding of general fabrication or warehouse processes</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly</li><li>Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Willingness to follow directions and ask questions when unsure</li></ul><h3><u><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></u></h3><ul><li>Joins, fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable materials using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding methods</li><li>Operates various welding devices and fabrication tools such as grinders, torches, and plasma cutters</li><li>Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams and schematics to determine layout, welding technique, and material requirements</li><li>Fits and assembles metal parts with precision using measuring instruments such as calipers, squares, and tape measures</li><li>Inspects completed welds to ensure structural soundness, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications</li><li>Performs grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks to complete fabrication processes</li><li>Follows all safety protocols and procedures for working in hazardous environments, including PPE usage and proper ventilation</li><li>Works closely with supervisors and team members to meet quality standards and project timelines</li><li>Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area</li></ul><h3><u><strong>Qualifications:</strong></u></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Completion of a welding apprenticeship and/or formal training program preferred</li><li>2+ years of experience in welding and fitting (structural steel, pipe, or fabrication setting preferred)</li><li>Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols</li><li>Strong understanding of various welding processes and their applications</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work in various positions</li><li>Attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to craftsmanship</li><li>Must pass a welding test and may be required to provide certifications</li></ul> <p></p>",
