To get the party started, apply with Westgate today!&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>As an Entertainment Coordinator, you will:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Plan all aspects of the entertainment activities for the property, such as purchasing necessary equipment and arranging transportation.</li><li>Serve as Master of Ceremonies/Host for various activities and events, including game shows, pool deck events, theme nights, and cocktail receptions.</li><li>Implement new ideas and games.</li><li>Marketing &amp; advertising the entertainment or activity – coordinate or design fliers, phone blast and any other in-house marketing.</li><li>Create&#xa0;Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for activities/events to include photos of setup, equipment with the details of anything that you needed to purchase for activity or event.</li><li>Create&#xa0;an Emergency Action Plan for the performed events and coordinate with the Security Department on property.</li><li>Evaluate the overall satisfaction of the event attendees using surveys or listening to feedback.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Participate in any video/picture or promotional marketing campaign.</li><li>Other duties within the water park and activities department may be assigned.</li></ul><p>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of<strong> integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic</strong>.           "text": "<ul><li>Applicable experience as an emcee or host for weddings, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, and similar venues is preferred.</li><li>The ability to interact effectively and make connections with people of different age groups.</li><li>Applicable theatre background/knowledge is preferred.</li><li>Strong improvisational skills and&#xa0;microphone skills.</li><li>Be open to flexible working hours; starting early mornings, up to 10 hours a day.</li><li>Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.</li><li>Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.</li><li>Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace.
