Schedule patients accurately for appointments requested by physicians and patients for pre-op and post-op. Provides patient with information and instructions for medications, facility direction. Ensures all preop clearances and labs are obtained. Optimizes and maintains providers surgery schedule to utilize providers time efficiently and effectively. Ensures all informed surgery orders are signed by providers. Provides patients for reminder calls for surgeries and office procedures.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\" style=\"list-style-type: square;\"><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintain surgery calendar and surgery scheduling. Keep schedules full.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Contact surgical facilities to schedule and post surgeries.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Schedule surgeries at correct surgical facilities based on the type of procedure.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Review, complete, and file consent forms and ABNs. Confirm copy is stored in electronic medical record.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Follow up on cancelled surgeries for rescheduling.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Contact insurance companies to verify coverage and coordinate with HEA Surgery Interview department.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Understand the urgency of surgery.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Verify that all consents are completed with patient signature, witness signature and date.
