This role has a strong impact to the performance of our daily operations, ultimately designed to meet productivity/customer expectations.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Essence of role:</span></strong></p><p>Ensure all maintenance related functions; processing, packaging, and facilities are executed effectively for efficient plant operations and limited down time across all areas of manufacturing. TPM is our disciplined approach to establishing a continuous improvement culture to meet performance objectives.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Direct reports:&nbsp;</span></strong>5 &ndash; 7; number of indirect reports: 35-40&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Primary Job Duties:</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Oversee all maintenance operations and implement plans to reduce down time due to repairs; this means you will be responsible for reducing line shutdowns&nbsp;</li><li>Manage shutdowns and PMs closely &ndash; directing teams to minimize business impact</li><li>Manage and set budgets for processing, packaging, facilities, parts (storeroom), utilities (tbd), repairs, preventative, security, house keeping/sanitation, etc.</li><li>Provide regular updates, including schedules and budgets, to stakeholders; escalate issues with recommended solutions to executive leaders</li><li>Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure highest possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime</li><li>Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the best practices</li><li>Facilitate the evolution/refinement of maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM&rsquo;s, changeovers, etc.)</li><li>Maintain processing, packaging equipment, and facility systems, decreasing unplanned downtime and growing reliability and availability</li><li>Lead loss elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management principles to sustain proactive and planned maintenance programs across all departments in manufacturing (roasting, blending, grinding, production, etc.)</li><li>Ensure supervisors and technicians document and input necessary data for the evaluation of trends, such as equipment history and efficiencies; this includes ensuring root cause is effectively conducted and accurate records are kept for further analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct gap assessments for all repairs/modifications and ensure team members are working on the right projects based on capability and skillset, ensuring alignment and coverage across shifts</li><li>Provide coaching and mentorship, as well as help develop skills for team members; be a change agent leader to the team, bringing best practices to make improvements</li><li>Evaluate the performance of team members and provide consistent feedback to ensure development; establish goals, priorities and expectations to meet goals</li><li>Drive innovation through the development of best practices and the identification of industry trends and tools that would contribute to strategic goals</li></ul><ul><li>Manage special projects, including CapEx initiatives as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Manage service contracts, HVAC, powered lifts, EHS partnerships/fire, safety &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Compile reports for ops, payrolls, and other day/day as needed&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Qualifications / Job Requirements:</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Five &ndash; seven years of experience in a manager&rsquo;s role leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in industrial technology or engineering disciplines required (or 15 years equivalent experience); master&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>Direct experience working for a CPG company, or in a high-volume packaged goods environment&nbsp;</li><li>Must have extensive experience in Root Cause Failure Analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of utilities and facility equipment needed</li><li>Must be able to lead, motivate, and develop others &ndash; leading them through change and improvement targets</li><li>Must have knowledge of Food Defense criteria&nbsp;</li><li>Project management skills: able to prioritize many high-profile projects and effectively coordinate and direct across multiple priority tasks in a high stress environment (ultimately meeting customer needs)</li><li><u>Required</u>: extensive knowledge of industrial mechanical, reliability/preventative maintenance, electrical,and PLC systems&nbsp;</li><li>Extensive knowledge of CMMS Systems, PM Optimization, and Predictive Maintenance Technologies<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Strong &nbsp;working knowledge of CMMS systems, with the ability to mine and analyze data for trends/reports</li><li>Familiarity with CMNS (Hexagon) strongly preferred</li></ul></li><li>Understand regulatory requirements for Food &amp; Beverage Safety</li><li>Proficiencies in Microsoft Office, including Excel/Pivot Tables, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and Power BI</li><li>Must have experience presenting cost drivers in maintenance within a manufacturing operation</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Equal Opportunity Employer: disability / veteran.
