Our projects consist of the maintenance and construction of healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, institutional and industrial facilities.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Established in 1975, Laketown Electric is celebrating its 50th year in business. Thanks to our best backlog ever, we have consistent work well through 2026 and beyond. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are seeking a Lead Power-Limited Technician to run medium to large commercial low-voltage projects from start to finish.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Responsibilities include site pre-install walkthroughs, reading and labeling blueprints, installing cable pathways, and installing CAT6/6A, coax, fiber systems, building out telecommunication rooms, and troubleshooting existing systems, as well as lighting controls.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Candidates must be able to manage projects independently and ensure quality work throughout all phases of a project.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This will be an on-site position Monday-Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM depending on jobsite needs.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Install, terminate, test and troubleshooting Cat6/6a, and fiber optics.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Install lighting controls, structured cabling systems, Paging systems, and camera systems.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Read/interpret large building blueprints and make changes when necessary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Label and certify installed systems for easy identification per provided plans.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Build out new closets including cabinets, racks, ladder rack, and neatly install cabling systems.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Start and finish small to medium scale commercial buildings as a job lead.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Mentor and train apprentices on the job as necessary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Walkthrough site with PM to determine best cabling routes and project needs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Install according to specifications and plans.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Maintain the project schedule and stay on or under budget</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you’ll bring</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· 4-5+ years of low voltage experience installing cat6 and fiber optic systems in a commercial environment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· PLT license (required)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Valid driver’s license</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· BICSI INST1, INSTC, INSTF (preferred)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Expectations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Installation neatly and efficiently</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Interface with Clients, GCs, and project IT coordination</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· 100% self-motivated</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Read through specifications on each site to adhere to contract documents while keeping install’s up to code</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Assume authority and responsibility for apprentices working under you</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Keep up with project schedules and timelines</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Pre on the job Safety training</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· OSHA 10</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Training provided on hire </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· TE350: BICSI TECH training/certification</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Continuing education for BICSI certs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· PLT continuing education</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· manufacturing training</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Pay: $38-50hr</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% paid individual health, dental, vision and basic life insurance<br></li>\n<li>401k program with match</li>\n<li>PTO</li>\n<li>Bonuses based on merit, teamwork, and production</li>\n<li>Phone Stipend</li>\n<li>Company Vehicle and gas card</li>\n<li>Yearly Tool Allowance</li>\n<li>Paid Continuing Education</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>#ZR</p>",
