By removing inefficiencies, valuing deep expertise, and empowering brokers, we’re building a smarter, more agile way to access business insurance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you’re passionate about underwriting and want to play a meaningful role in transforming the industry, this is an opportunity to grow with a company that’s moving fast and thinking differently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Vice-President, Transport, you will manage new business and renewals across Canada while contributing to the continued expansion of our portfolio.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Underwrite, develop, and manage new business and renewals in line with program and contract guidelines</li>\n<li>Evaluate, accept, or decline risks within your underwriting authority</li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers through exceptional service and regular outreach</li>\n<li>Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to drive results</li>\n<li>Represent REVAU at industry events and strengthen market presence</li>\n<li>Stay informed on market conditions, trends, and emerging risks in commercial insurance</li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely policy issuance and billing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of insurance experience, preferably within the Transport sector</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of policy wording and underwriting principles</li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with confident decision-making abilities</li>\n<li>Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li>\n<li>Strong negotiation and relationship management skills</li>\n<li>Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and priorities</li>\n<li>Insurance diploma (considered an asset)</li>\n<li>Experience with Guidewire (considered an asset)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid remote work for work–life balance</li>\n<li>Group insurance, wellness account, employee and family assistance program, and telemedicine</li>\n<li>Access to a retirement savings plan with employer contributions</li>\n<li>7 personal days</li>\n<li>Birthday leave</li>\n<li>Bonus program</li>\n<li>Wellness program</li>\n<li>Training reimbursement program</li>\n</ul>",
