    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">The Plant Manager is responsible for driving productivity through efficiency and optimization of all processes. This position executes best practices in a cost-effective manner with minimal disruption to production. The Plant Manager manages multiple functional areas including production, maintenance, warehouse, and quality. (<strong>This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Position Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet the commitments for the plant and cost objectives.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive production goals and develop organizational structures to support customer on-time delivery requirements and production demand.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Control labor, material, and supply utilization. Evaluate performance against the established standard; take necessary corrective action to meet or exceed standard.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with sales and scheduling teams to develop and revise production schedules and priorities because of customer requirements, equipment failure, or operating problems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Own the Safety Culture of the site and work collaboratively with Managers, Supervisors, and supporting departments including HR and EHS.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop, lead, coach, and mentor Production Managers and Supervisors to achieve goals, solve problems and provide a safe work environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that cost gaps are identified, action plans developed, and adequate resources allocated to meet all financial objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Set and achieve all productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety &amp; motivation Key Performance Indicator objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide a work environment that adheres to all compliance and regulatory guidelines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Foster an environment of continuous improvement that meets or exceeds expectations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot processes and/or procedures to find the root cause of an issue and find a resolution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the identification and elimination of losses resulting in improvements in costs, inventory, time, and quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with HR to ensure proper staffing levels, work schedules, and work centers, based on production needs and capacity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure corrective action process is followed, problems are addressed in a timely manner and are effective in solving the issue.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and report on performance and efficiency metrics, identifying areas for improvement.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide active and positive leadership in the effort to drive the culture across the facility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Embody the Company Mission, Vision, and Values.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as required.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>This job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position, and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and/or skills required.
