font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Position Overview</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>The </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>OMS Lead</span></span></span><span><span> is a senior technical lead responsible for the configuration, deployment, integration, and optimization of Outage Management System (OMS) solutions within utility grid modernization programs across North America.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>This role is central to successful OMS implementations and the broader ADMS ecosystem. </span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>The OMS Lead works closely with utility clients, control room operations, IT teams, and OMS/ADMS vendors to ensure outage management capabilities are properly configured, integrated, and aligned with operational workflows including:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Outage detection, prediction, and confirmation</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Crew dispatch and mobile workforce integration</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Switching and tagging management</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Customer call and IVR integration</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Storm management and mutual aid coordination</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span>The position requires strong expertise in utility distribution operations, outage management business processes, control room workflows, and OMS/ADMS platform configuration.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Key Responsibilities</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>The key responsibilities of the OMS Lead role are as follows:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Solution Design</span><span> &amp; </span><span>Architecture</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Act as </span><span>trusted</span><span> advisor to utility </span><span>distribution </span><span>stakeholders on OMS capabilities, best practices, </span><span>deployment strategies </span><span>and industry standards</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements, including </span><span>but not limited to </span><span>outage lifecycle management, switching workflows, crew management, customer </span><span>data management, </span><span>and </span><span>customer </span><span>communication.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Develop use cases, user stories, and process flows to support system design and validation.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure end-to-end traceability between business requirements, system configuration, and testing scenarios</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Drive end-to-end </span><span>OMS </span><span>design workshops, enabling informed decision-making and alignment across business, operations, </span><span>vendors, </span><span>and IT stakeholders</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure alignment </span><span>of OMS solution </span><span>with </span><span>other </span><span>enterprise systems</span><span>, including but not limited to </span><span>ADMS, </span><span>GIS, SCADA, AMI, </span><span>IVR, and mobile workforce management systems.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Support OMS deployments for greenfield and brownfield ADMS implementations, including migrations from legacy OMS platforms.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\"><span><span>OMS Configuration &amp; Deployment</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead the configuration and deployment of OMS modules within ADMS platforms</span><span>, including but not limited to </span><span>outage </span><span>visibility and classification</span><span>, trouble call aggregation logic, outage prediction algorithms</span><span>, ETR </span><span>rules, and OMS alarms and events</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Lead the configuration and deployment of Switching</span><span> </span><span>Management </span><span>module within ADMS platforms</span><span>,</span><span> including but not limited to </span><span>classification </span><span>and visibility </span><span>of planned work, </span><span>switching plans, safety documents, </span><span>tagging workflows, </span><span>and </span><span>planned outage management.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Establish OMS configuration governance processes to ensure long-term system reliability.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Skills and Experience</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>7+ years experience in utility outage management, OMS </span><span>implementation</span><span>, or distribution operations.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Direct experience with OMS/ADMS platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, GE, Oracle, CGI, OSI, ABB).</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Direct experience</span><span> </span><span>with OMS integration to AMI/smart meters, IVR, mobile workforce, and GIS.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Experience with OMS system testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live support.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Familiarity with IEEE 1366, utility reliability metrics (SAIDI, SAIFI, CAIDI), and regulatory outage reporting.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Experience leading OMS deployments, platform migrations, or major system upgrades strongly preferred.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Ability to manage complex system configurations and resolve cross-system integration issues.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Ability to explain complex OMS concepts to control room operators, engineering, and executive stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Comfortable working in deadline-driven, high-visibility project environments.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Mosaic, we are invested in our people and are proud to offer a competitive total compensation package. Compensation decisions are made based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, consulting experience, education and training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed reflects a good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. A reasonable national base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $205,000.00 USD annually, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program of up to 10% of annual compensation, subject to individual and organizational performance.
