At Bay West, you&#39;ll be driven to innovate and make a real impact on environmental issues, all while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">This Opportunity</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">We are seeking a UXO Technician I for UXO support at an upcoming project at Pueblo Chemical Depot in Pueblo, Colorado.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Your Key Responsibilities</span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with the on-site demilitarization of munitions of explosive concern (MEC), and handling of demolition materials</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist in the inspection of Material Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH) as safe, or as to the explosive hazard it may present for transfer within Department of Defense (DoD) or release from DoD control per current policies and standards. Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Who You Are</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Individual must have OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and annual 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher training.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Valid state driver&rsquo;s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Graduate of US EOD school, acceptable Allied Nation EOD school (i.e., Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Canada) or accredited comparable UXO Technician Level I training, and with appropriate experience as required by Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB) Technical Paper (TP) 18.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
