With the intent to offer Medical Lab Assistant program, WCC invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for the position of Instructor for the Medical Lab Assistant Program.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in the development of curriculum as per the BCSLS Competencies for Lab Assistants.</li>\n<li>Provide excellent learning and teaching experiences for students</li>\n<li>Participate in the academic progress of students through constant evaluation and feedback</li>\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to support a high quality learning environment.</li>\n<li>Contribute to and support a healthy, collegial and scholarly work environment through professional practice and professional development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Medical Lab Assistant with more than 10 years work experience working in the field OR teaching experience of more than 2 years in the same field.</li>\n<li>For teaching laboratory section, the required qualification is Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Expected Start date: May 2026</p>\n<p>Location: Agassiz, BC</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Job Type: Part-time</p>\n\n\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extended health care</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n\n\n<p>Experience:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>MLA: 10 years (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n\n\n<p>Work Location: In person</p>\n\n\n",
