    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Shuttle Driver (DAY SHIFT)</strong></p><p><strong>Masonicare at Greenridge Place</strong></p><p>Day Shift - 16 hours per week</p><p><strong><u>Summary of Position:&nbsp;</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Performs routine driving and transporting services. &nbsp;Provide accessibility for medical appointments within established networks. &nbsp;Ensures the timely efficient movement of materials and mail within MWH and throughout Masonicare. &nbsp;Under the mission of the Foundation and the department by recognizing the elderly we serve as unique persons, requiring individual alternatives to maintain full lives in their later years. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, and objective, quality assessment and improvement programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards.</p><p>2. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain the vehicles; drives them to designed service station for maintenance, repair and refueling. &nbsp; Maintains record of use, mileage, repairs or service required.</p><p>3. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Drives truck, bus, station wagon or other hospital vehicles to transport Masonic at Wesley Heights residents to outside appointments.</p><p>4. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Provides suggestions to management to improve overall quality and day to day operations.</p><p>5. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrates supportive attitude towards patients, visitors and/or staff. &nbsp;Communicates effectively and tactfully with residents/patients recognizing their age, needs, abilities and physical condition.</p><p>6. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Reports all unsafe conditions to appropriate supervisor including change in patient status, broken or malfunctioning equipment or anything that could be potential threat or danger to a resident.</p><p>7. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Understands and follows Universal Precautions as it pertains to their department.&nbsp;</p><p>8. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Understands chemical(s) used in their department under the &quot;Right To Know&quot; standard.</p><p>9. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. &nbsp;Attend meetings as required.</p><p>10. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Performs other duties as required.</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications:</u></strong></p><p>Education: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Less than high school &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Experience: &nbsp; &nbsp; On the Job Training &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid CT Driver&#39;s License-eligible for passenger endorsement.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Day Shift / 16hrs/wk",
