The role involves conducting surveys of drainage systems to assess conditions, identify defects and support maintenance and repair strategies. This is a field- based role, ideal for someone with experience in drainage inspection and a strong understanding of sewer networks.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As a HGV Tanker/Jetting Engineer you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment on HGVs to safely and effectively clear blockages in drains, sewers, and pipework.</li>\n<li>Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.</li>\n<li>Diagnose drainage issues and apply suitable jetting techniques based on blockage type. Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with customers, explaining tasks, addressing questions, and providing summaries.</li>\n<li>Accurately complete digital job reports and system updates using laptops or tablets.</li>\n<li>Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.</li>\n<li>Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.</li>\n<li>Support reactive and scheduled works, including emergency callouts and confined space entries (if trained).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; font-weight: bold\">About you:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)</li>\n<li>HGV Class 2 Licence<br></li>\n<li>Previous experience as a HGV Jetvac Operator or in a similar role (Desirable)</li>\n<li>Willingness to work flexible hours and travel across the Anglian region</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Lanes Group:</span></p>\n<p>The Lanes Group are the UK’s largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services, we play a vital role in always maintaining the seamless operations of the nation’s water systems.
