The hourly rate is $35 for an annual salary of $46,637.</p>\n\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS-Special Education Teacher</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Bachelor Degree (Required)</li>\n\t<li>PA Special Education Certification&nbsp;(Required)&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearance (Required)</li>\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES-Special Education Teacher</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Provide a safe, accepting classroom atmosphere and use teaching techniques that promote developmentally appropriate&nbsp;practices, physical, social, emotional, and psychological growth for each student.</li>\n\t<li>Prepare, write, and implement an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) for the student.</li>\n\t<li>Collect, interpret and report progress of data collected on student IEP goals.</li>\n\t<li>Assess student development and performance using standardized and informal assessment tools.</li>\n\t<li>Complete written comprehensive Re-evaluation Reports (RR) for each student as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Work hours are Monday - Friday, <strong>8:30&nbsp;a.m. to 3:00 p.m.</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>6.5-hour days. Working only&nbsp;32.5&nbsp;hours per week, with a typical school calendar&nbsp;of 9.5 months per year!
