    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Join Dr. Hsin-Jung Yang and their research group as a Postdoctoral Scientist!</strong></p>\n<p>The Biomedical Imaging Research Institute (BIRI) is an interdisciplinary research program dedicated to developing and applying state‑of-the-art imaging technologies to today’s most pressing translational research and clinical questions. Our team collaborates closely with physicians and leading imaging researchers worldwide, uniting technical and clinical expertise in cardiology, neurology and oncology. We prioritize educating and training future imaging leaders.</p>\n<p>The mission of the Yang Lab is to develop advanced imaging solutions for pathological activities in the heart and noninvasively detect, diagnose and monitor cardiovascular diseases. The team has developed cutting-edge MRI technologies, which include a needleless method for myocardial ischemia detection named cardiac fMRI (cfMRI). cfMRI utilizes oxygenation-sensitive MRI signal and controlled coronary artery stimulations to detect impaired coronary artery function without ionizing radiation, exogenous contrast agents and pharmacological stress agents. The needleless approach provides millions of patients with potential myocardial ischemic diseases a minimum risk solution for examining their coronary circulation without the potential harm from the standard clinical exams. Will keep appropriate experimental records and documentation and analyze the results with the Principal Investigator.</li>\n <li>May develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols.</li>\n <li>Analyzes interpret, summarizes, and compiles data.</li>\n <li>Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures throughout the training period.</li>\n <li>Operates and maintains equipment and instruments.</li>\n <li>May observe MD-patient or MD-human research subject interactions as it pertains directly to research being performed.</li>\n</ul>",
