Join our team of talented researchers and operations staff with offices in Beijing, Berlin, New Delhi, San Francisco, São Paulo, and Washington D.C.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span>The ICCT has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and committed Associate Researcher or Researcher in the Fuels program who will work on low-GHG energy alternatives for the marine</span><span> and</span><span> aviation sectors. </span><span>This is a full-time position based in ICCT’s New Delhi office and will report to the Fuels Program Lea</span><span>d, working</span><span> regularly with the India Regional Lead.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span>The Associate Researcher or Researcher will conduct robust research and analyses and develop policy recommendations, communicating actionable findings to policymakers, industry, and other stakeholders. </span><span>This person will focus on</span><span> Indian pol</span><span>icies and programs</span><span>, such as the </span><span>National </span><span>Green Hydrogen Mission and </span><span>the Aviation Turbine Fuel Order</span><span>, but the person may also work on fuels policies in other </span><span>countries in Asia and elsewhere</span><span>.</span><span> Representative work can be seen at the </span><span>ICCT’s</span><br></span><a href=\"https://theicct.org/sector/fuels/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span><span>Fuels program page</span></span></a><span><span>. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>You Will:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Analyze the cost, </span><span>life-cycle</span><span> GHG emissions, and availability of low-GHG renewable fuels</span><span>, </span><span>such as renewable hydrogen derivatives and biofuels.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Write clear and concise technical reports, policy briefs, and articles including informative but easy-to-understand figures to summarize ICCT’s research for both technical and non-technical audiences. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Present findings in public and private forums</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Help organize outreach activities such as briefings, meetings, and workshops.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Collaborate effectively with the</span><span> ICCT’s global Fuels team and colleagues in India</span><span>, as well as with external partners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.</span></span><span><br></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Other responsibilities as assigned.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>You<span> </span></span><span>Have:</span></span></span><span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Associate Researcher:<span> </span></span></span></span><span><span>A bachelor’s or master's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, ecology, engineering, environmental<span> </span></span><span>policy</span><span><span> </span>or related discipline, in addition to at least two years of related experience, or alternatively a PhD degree</span></span><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><span>OR</span></span><span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Researcher:</span></span></span><span><span><span> </span>A master’s or PhD degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, energy and resources, or another relevant subject, in addition to at least three years of related experience. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Excellent and </span><span>demonstrated</span><span> quantitative, analytical, and research skills</span></span><br></li>\n<li>The ability to work independently with limited supervision, being highly organized and strategic in problem-solving  <br></li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal, plus reading and</li>\n<li>writing proficiency in a second language strongly preferred;<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Superior </span><span>proficiency</span><span> with MS Office </span><span>including Excel required</span><span>;
