In this influential role, you will oversee major electric overhead transmission initiatives—from concept through completion—advancing grid resiliency and reinforcing the reliability of electricity delivery for communities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position offers fully <strong>remote</strong> capabilities; however, occasional <strong>on-site</strong> responsibilities may be required if you are located near a CHA office.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead all phases of multifaceted electric overhead transmission projects—from concept through completion—by developing advanced engineering designs, technical reports, and contract documentation, while guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineering staff</li>\n <li>Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues across multiple teams and projects</li>\n <li>Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases with engineering and project management teams</li>\n <li>Mentor and provide technical review for junior engineering staff working on electric overhead transmission projects</li>\n <li>Conduct engineering studies, investigations, and prepare reports for company leadership, clients, and regulatory agencies</li>\n <li>Prepare technical proposals and external presentations for clients, the general public, and regulatory agencies, showcasing CHA’s commitment to grid resiliency and energy transition solutions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areas</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Proven leadership skills and ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead transformative grid infrastructure and transmission projects that directly support national energy transition goals and long-term power system resilience</li>\n <li>Mentor, inspire, and develop multidisciplinary teams dedicated to strengthening the future of electricity delivery</li>\n <li>Collaborate with industry leaders and technical experts in a flexible, innovative, and supportive environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Electric Transmission team is doing?
