In this position...
he Hardware in the Loop (HiL) ADAS Test Engineer supports the product development and system integration processes by designing/selecting, developing, and maintaining test cases, feature analysis, automation scripts development, schematics and ECU analysis. Solutions for test generation, definition, execution and reporting, adaptation, configuration management, and project management.
New Tools and technology integration to enhance test coverages . Solution development and debug skills for camera, radars, GPS, powertrain, chassis component. Deep understanding of system level interactions to define HIL setup requirements . Deep understanding of debug tool, logging, scripting, protocols etc
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
Analyse requirement and translate to testcases
Test Methodologies to enhance the test coverage
Document and review automation solutions requirements
Evaluate and select tools to support test automation
Procure and maintain hardware and software solutions
Expert understanding of ADAS features and system level interactions
Develop solutions to enhance bench capabilties to increase test boundaries
Assist in AI and virtualization workstream for test enhancements
Mentor new resources
Debug driver assistance domain along with chassis and powetrain for end to end testing of complex features
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Science
5+ Years of experience in ADAS and IVI domains
3+ Years of experience in Chassis and Powertrain domains
3+ Years of experience in commissioning and validation support of dSPACE HIL simulators
3+ Years of experience in Ford Diagnostics Engineering tools and software downloads.
3+ Years of experience in dSPACE control and automation desk software.
3+ Years of experience in Implemented and manage test automation libraries for System HIL environment
Expertise in CAN, Ethernet, LIN, diagnostic and network communication
Expertise in sensor integration, electromechanical system debugging
2+ years of experience in software development Python, C++ and Matlab
4+ Years of Experience in embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN) and the use of ECU diagnostic and network communication tools to verify and troubleshoot distributed vehicle systems (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, )
2+ years of experience utilizing software testing or quality assurance methodologies
2+ years of experience implementing software configuration management
Even better, you may have...
Master’s degree in Engineering or Business applications
Experience in development and execution of functional test procedures within a software or vehicle testing organization
Experience in bench testing of distributed electrical systems (Electrical System Engineering) including bench functional integration, test execution, measuring and instrumentation, incident reporting and root cause analysis
Experience in electrical schematics for vehicle components and systems and electrical architectures of distributed systems
Experience with development and verification of embedded software using hardware in the loop equipment and software (E.g. dSpace, National Instruments)
Experience in test automation collaboration with Germany team
