You would be part of a friendly & professional workplace with awesome co-workers and leaders.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Principal Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Receives and accounts for all specimens from referring physicians</li>\n <li>Ensures proper labeling of specimens and that the information on the requisition matches information entered into system</li>\n <li>Inputs patient demographics and specimen information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)</li>\n <li>Documents missing or discrepant information</li>\n <li>Verifies correct information with QC process</li>\n <li>Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma is required. </li>\n <li>Must have some medical experience or knowledge (knowledge of medical terminology preferred)</li>\n <li>Must be extremely detail oriented and able to work quickly and productively</li>\n <li>Type 45+ wpm with 100% accuracy. You will be asked to complete a typing skills assessment to verify skill level</li>\n <li>Strong data entry and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Able to troubleshoot and solve problems</li>\n <li>Highly proficient with computer and word processing skills</li>\n <li>Reliable and dependable</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure/Certifications/Education</h2>\n<p><strong>Full time employees (defined as regularly working at least 30 hours per week) are eligible for the following benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental & Vision insurance – effective 1st of the month after date of start</li>\n <li>Short-term and long-term disability, Voluntary life (employee, spouse, and child), Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity – Effective the 1st of the month following date of hire</li>\n <li>Company provided Basic Life/AD&D insurance</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n <li>Paid holidays</li>\n <li>Retirement Savings account</li>\n <li>Employee discount on cosmetic services and products</li>\n</ul>",
