You will mentor junior engineers, support cross-disciplinary coordination, and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.</p>\n<p>Bring your experience and innovative ideas to help build stronger, more resilient communities.</p>\n<p><strong>Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 (based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills).</strong></p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, direct, and coordinate on-site mechanical and electrical activities to comply with specifications, requirements, and codes</li>\n <li>Coordinate all relevant drawings and information to eliminate interference problems</li>\n <li>Provide directions during functional performance testing of all mechanical and electrical systems</li>\n <li>Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in updating and achieving schedule requirements, mechanical and electrical RFI’s and shop drawings and administrate mechanical/electrical project completion requirements</li>\n <li>Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors</li>\n <li>Report accurate quantities for labour cost reports and accurately monitor material ledgers to ensure quantities in estimate are sufficient to complete the project</li>\n <li>Find solutions to conflicts in structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specifications and follow-up with consultants and sub-trades to completion</li>\n <li>Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction</li>\n <li>Review scope for early procurement items</li>\n <li>Responsible of M&E subcontractor cost and tracking and deviations from initial contract</li>\n <li>Commissioning of the equipment’s and hand over</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline</li>\n <li>Engineer in Training (EIT) required; Professional Engineering License (PE/PENG) preferred.</li>\n <li>5-7 years of relevant experience in heavy civil projects or bridges structures</li>\n <li>Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)</li>\n <li>Knowledge with MS Project is required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of SketchUp is recommended</li>\n <li>Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze data</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Collaborative attitude and strong teamwork skills</li>\n <li>Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>",
