This position integrates clinical project goals, including achievement of workflow efficiencies and targeted outcomes, into the overall project plan as developed and managed by the Project Manager. The Registered Nurse Consultant contributes directly to the ability of the field teams to achieve a high-quality implementation that is complete and delivered in accordance with pre-determined timelines.&nbsp;</p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Assesses and analyzes clinical processes within the hospital and determine if any changes are required to successfully implement all contracted modules of the PatientSafe Solutions system. This requires an analysis of the customer&rsquo;s clinical systems and workflows with oversight responsibility for review/revision of existing customer policies and procedures.</li><li>Provides the Client and the PatientSafe Solutions Implementation Team with the clinical leadership necessary to successfully implement, test and train clients to successfully utilize the PatientSafe Solutions system</li><li>Identifies and presents recommended process changes to improve clinical workflow to appropriate health system decision-makers</li><li>Participates in the development of hospital-specific nursing implementation plans for customers to include on-site evaluation of validation and expansion units</li><li>Serves as liaison between Client clinical staff and the Implementation teams</li><li>Provides ongoing and post-implementation nursing consulting</li><li>Functions as a nursing end-user advocate and expert advisor to the rest of the PatientSafe Solutions organization.</li><li>Suggests product improvements, reports, and new opportunities for expanding or enriching product feature and functionality</li><li>Assists in the development of justification and value realization metrics, with specific focus on identifying and planning for client-approved use cases and outcomes targets</li><li>Participates, as demanded by individual clients/project, in the end user education process</li><li>Remains current with available information detailing regulatory requirements and industry trends</li></ul><h2>&nbsp;Qualifications:</h2><ul type=\"disc\"><li>RN, BSN preferred, advanced degree a plus</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of clinical staff and management experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably with a mix of both medical/surgical and critical care experience</li><li>Minimum one (1) years of clinical systems implementation experience, preferably EMR, Clinical Communications, or medical device related</li><li>Strong ability to identify and interact with nursing personnel in a hospital setting</li><li>Strong customer care orientation</li><li>Experience in recognizing and assessing varying nursing care practices</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with key customers, prospects and business partners, sales, customer support and development</li><li>Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and obtains clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings</li><li>High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)</li><li>Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills: articulate and effective communicator and presenter, able to describe complex problems and solutions in understandable terms; ability to frame communications to a diverse set of stakeholders</li><li>Solid analytical, critical thinking skills as well as demonstrated ability to multi-task and support multiple clients&rsquo; needs/projects simultaneously</li><li>A high sense of urgency coupled with a discipline to achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals</li><li>Ability to conduct staff training and go-live support activities</li><li>Experience in Nursing education planning is a plus</li><li>Experience with MAR development and implementation is a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel up to 75%&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div>\n",
