We are a proud part of the mining/construction industry and are seeking a highly motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Safford, AZ. (FMI)</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Tire &amp; service experience</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Commitment to working safely at all times; report unsafe conditions in the work area</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist in various maintenance department activities</span></li>\n<li><span>Operate of mid-level mechanical tools</span></li>\n<li><span>Work on tractor components including engines, transmissions, starters, generators, alternators and other misc. components</span></li>\n<li><span>Diagnose and perform mechanical trailer repairs on a variety of trailers: pneumatic, live bottoms, belly dumps, flatbeds, and tanker trailers</span></li>\n<li><span>Diagnose and perform mechanical repairs on a wide variety of company equipment</span></li>\n<li><span>Inspect equipment for structural integrity and other potential safety and maintenance problems</span></li>\n<li><span>Diagnose, disassemble, clean, remove, and replace defective parts; reassemble, install, and adjust to specified performance standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Obtain parts from stock as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Input data into a maintenance software program</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform the job duties of lube/tire technician and laborer as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with service calls</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist other maintenance and office personnel when necessary</span></li>\n<li><span>Operate maintenance pick-up truck, forklift, and other company equipment</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn as directed</span></li>\n<li><span>Notify manager of updates regarding their driver's license: all citations, inspections, incidents, accidents, and near-misses</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Maintain contact with manager to advise of problems or concerns</span></li>\n<li><span>Other reasonable duties as assigned</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with general maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned</span></li>\n<li><span>Add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to communicate information in verbal and written form and the ability to listen to and understand information and directions</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Work overtime, as needed</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>This position requires the ability to lift, carry, pull, push and/or move up to 50 pounds</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, grip, speak, hear, see, climb and/or balance, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, squat or crawl, use legs, and feet</span></li>\n<li><span>Constant climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 14 feet above the ground, and bending over</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING ENVIRONMENT </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The noise level is usually very loud.</span></li>\n<li><span>Frequently exposed to high, precarious places and risks of electrical shock</span></li>\n<li><span>Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals, extreme weather conditions, vibration, and equipment under pressure</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job description is available upon request.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>CTI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
