This position will lead exciting projects across the United States for Hospitality, Entertainment, Healthcare and Life Sciences.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li>Be able to lead, mentor and direct less experienced mechanical staff on all of their responsibilities.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform at a “responsible charge” level in regard to meeting EXPs design and quality levels.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Determine content of drawings and specs for less experienced staff in order to meet the scope of work.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Review code related items with Designers and ensure compliance.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Edit and develop basis of design narratives documenting project scope.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Thorough understanding of psychrometrics.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Understand and apply concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable &amp; constant flow systems.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Advance equipment selection and analysis – chillers, boilers, air terminals, cooling towers, HEPA filters, DX equipment, and water source heat pumps.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Write new specifications sections, develop new details, as required for project needs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Write studies and reports for systems on projects.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform life-cycle cost analyses, and energy/cost calculation for HVAC systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Apply and modify appropriate controls diagrams for the project</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Modify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Meets with contractors during bid phase to review design details.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Critically evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Evaluate value engineering items with respect to EXP’s level of risk.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize EXP’s and client’s exposure to problems.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Travel to project sites to review progress of work and successfully solve problems within time &amp; budget</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Develop and monitor work plans.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours and guide Designers on management of task hours.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">10+ years Mechanical design experience</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Registered Professional Engineer in State of Denver required.&nbsp;</li><li>7+ years of hospitality facility, Healthcare and Life Sciences or Hospitality design</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000.&nbsp;Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
