Overview Group 1 Automotive is hiring Service Advisors for our Tulsa dealership locations, including South Pointe Chevrolet, South Pointe Honda, South Pointe CJDR and BMW of Tulsa. This role is ideal for driven professionals who thrive in a busy service environment, enjoy working directly with customers, and can confidently recommend maintenance and repair services. Service Advisors act as the primary connection between customers and the service team—explaining vehicle needs, upselling recommended services, and delivering a smooth, professional experience. Strong communication skills, vehicle maintenance aptitude, and the ability to handle volume are key to success. Responsibilities Schedule and confirm service appointments to ensure an efficient customer experience Create accurate, transparent repair orders with detailed cost and time estimates Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts teams Provide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair process Review inspections and confidently recommend maintenance and repair services Maintain strong product, warranty, and service knowledge Accurately document customer interactions and service details in the system Qualifications Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive training or certifications are a plus Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in a customer-facing role within a dealership or automotive service environment preferred Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance, repair processes, and vehicle systems Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, professional manner Proven ability to upsell recommended maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with dealership management systems (such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) and basic computer skills Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and management In addition to competitive compensation, we offer: Monthly base pay of $2,500, plus performance‑based commission Estimated total monthly earnings range: $4,000–$9,000+ , based on individual performance Earnings are not guaranteed and may vary based on factors including CSI scores, customer pay sales, warranty performance, and overall departmental results Performance‑driven pay structure that rewards customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality service Ongoing training, coaching, and support in a high‑volume service environment Opportunities for long‑term growth within Group 1 Automotive Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
