Your role as Mechanical Foreman will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Leading and mentoring a crew of 10+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers, organizing and maintaining scheduled installations of building mechanical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Overseeing the installation of all materials, equipment, and systems proficiently to deliver projects on time and on budget.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performing quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.</span></li>\n<li><span>Planning and coordinating sub-trades, identifying efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success.</span></li>\n<li><span>Supervising workers and projects, arranging training sessions, and coordinating manpower scheduling with the developer/general contractor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Accurately completing and submitting all necessary paperwork, such as HSE reporting, 3-week lookaheads, and QA/QC.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><em>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:</em></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a Lead Hand role on residential multi-unit or commercial sites.</span></li>\n<li>Hydronic experience in heating, cooling, mechanical rooms, grooved, victaulic and cast iron experience. (considered and asset).<br></li>\n<li><span>Red Seal Plumber Certification.</span></li>\n<li><span>Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in plumbing installations, plumbing code, and mechanical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!).</span></li>\n<li><span>Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget, along with a self-motivated attitude to maintain productivity without supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span>Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.</span></li>\n<li><span>Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.</span></li>\n<li><span>You bring solutions to any roadblock that comes up on the job.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><em>NICE TO HAVES:</em></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Relevant and local construction industry experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>Additional certifications or training relevant to the role including:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>First Aid</span></li>\n<li><span>Fall Protection</span></li>\n<li><span>Gas Fitter</span></li>\n<li><span>Boom/Scissor Lift</span></li>\n<li><span>Forklift</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:</span></span></p>\n<p><br><span>We value our team and the outstanding work they do, and we love to celebrate their achievements along the way.
