This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept facilities and grounds while supporting events and general upkeep needs.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong><br />\n&bull; Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and waxing floors, walls, and woodwork<br />\n&bull; Dust furniture and equipment; empty and clean ashtrays and wastebaskets; polish furniture and metal fixtures<br />\n&bull; Vacuum rugs, curtains, and furniture; wash windows; clean restrooms; restock paper and soap supplies<br />\n&bull; Perform minor maintenance and repair work such as replacing lights and ballasts, and light repair of faucet washers or toilet tank floats<br />\n&bull; Conduct groundskeeping and light maintenance including pressure washing, debris removal, replacing light bulbs, and adjusting furniture<br />\n&bull; Report needs and concerns to appropriate staff, including recommending or submitting work orders and monitoring supply levels<br />\n&bull; Empty trash receptacles, dispose of trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal<br />\n&bull; Assist with inventory of equipment and cleaning products<br />\n&bull; Provide custodial support during Tribal and local events, including setup and breakdown<br />\n&bull; Ensure Blyn Campus grounds, landscaping, and parking areas remain clean and orderly by removing trash and debris<br />\n&bull; Maintain and clean Kiosk areas, including removal of birds&rsquo; nests, cobwebs, and droppings<br />\n&bull; Clean windows and doors on a regular basis<br />\n&bull; Secure and lock campus buildings daily and after evening events<br />\n&bull; Assist with snow removal and deicing as needed<br />\n&bull; Adhere to all JST policies and procedures, including safety standards and the Occupational Exposure Control Plan<br />\n&bull; Perform additional duties as assigned</p>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong><br />\n&bull; High School Diploma or equivalent<br />\n&bull; Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite<br />\n&bull; Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts<br />\n&bull; Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions<br />\n&bull; Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members<br />\n&bull; Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities<br />\n&bull; Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality<br />\n&bull; Ability to adapt to change in a positive and flexible manner<br />\n&bull; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative<br />\n&bull; Ability to travel locally and regionally as assigned<br />\n&bull; Valid Driver&rsquo;s License<br />\n&bull; Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation</p>\n\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br />\n&bull; Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills<br />\n&bull; Two (2) years of custodial, maintenance, or related experience<br />\n&bull; Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, route oversight, and proper use of protective equipment<br />\n&bull; American Indian/Alaska Native preference applies</p>\n\n<p>Join a team committed to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment that supports the Tribe&rsquo;s community, culture, and daily operations.</p>\n",
