    "description": "<p><span style=\"color:#9b59b6;\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, the Building Supervisor will provide leadership for facility readiness, department supervision, and member satisfaction.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color:#9b59b6;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Provides excellent service and maintains positive relations with members, guests, program participants, and co-workers in the YMCA.</li>\r\n\t<li>When closing the branch, the building supervisor is asked to ensure the members have exited the building, the facility is locked, and an alarm is set.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures that all safety and risk management standards are adhered to.</li>\r\n\t<li>Reports unusual conditions and/or foreseeable problems to management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develops the ability to work without constant direct supervision.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitors facility cleanliness, addresses any cleanliness issues, Launders towels, and reviews program area cleanliness.</li>\r\n\t<li>Exemplifies YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.</li>\r\n\t<li>Wears appropriate staff uniform.</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervises the building use by members and program participants. Records and responds to inappropriate actions and takes appropriate steps to reprimand or dismiss involved parties as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides leadership and guidance to evening/weekend staff</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervises the building use by members and program participants.
