Property Manager Full-Time | Exempt | Reports to Property Supervisor About SAHA: Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) is a nonprofit housing development organization with over 50 years of experience throughout the Bay Area for low income families, seniors, and people with special needs including those experiencing homelessness. SAHA begins from the idea that every person a home; our work is inspired by our commitment to create a more just society that promotes the health, security, and personal development of all people regardless of their financial means. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the property and for supervision maintenance and on-site staff. This includes serving as a mentor to assigned junior staff and working in concert with the Resident Services Coordinator in developing a supportive environment for all residents within the property. The Property Manager ensures the property is well-maintained within established operating and financial policies, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies and investors. The Property Manager also provides support to other Managers within SAHA's portfolio and may also work on special projects as needed based on skill level and availability. Location: This position will work at two SAHA Properties located in Alameda and Berkeley, CA: Jack Capon Villa and Amistad House. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually . Starting offers may be higher, depending on experience, education, and relative comparisons to current staff. Education & Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience. Informal supervisory or leadership experience may count towards part of this required, depending on the relevance. Must demonstrate knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord & Tenant Laws. Must demonstrate knowledge of affordable housing funding and programs, such as HUD, TCAC, Section 8, etc. Selection Process Details: Applicants may be contacted for an initial phone screening, followed by up to two rounds of Zoom interviews.
