Services include residential settings, employment services, day programming, and therapies such as behavior consultation, music and recreational therapy.</span></p><div><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.23.16/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></span><div><div><div><div><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></span><div><div><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">The Training Nurse is responsible for monitoring the training of staff, health care needs for ADEC clients, counseling, and assuring compliance with Medicaid regulations, <span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span data-pasted=\"true\">monitoring the health care needs for ADEC clients</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">.</span><strong>&nbsp;This is a full time position, mostly Monday - Friday day hours with weekend on-call rotation.&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<strong>The Position:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">The Training Nurse:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Presents <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">in-service education to new and current ADEC staff as needed as a group or individually.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Maintains the training materials and ensure the information is up to date and in compliance with Indiana&#39;s Core A and Core B training requirements.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Comprehends and implements health standards as required by various regulatory bodies.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Monitor ADEC locations regularly to assure compliance with written procedures and regulatory standards.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Meet and consult with the Interdisciplinary Team and other health professionals to identify health needs and ways of meeting these needs.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Perform Quarterly Physical Assessments.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Comprehend and implement health standards as required by various regulatory bodies.</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Registered Nurse or LPN with an Indiana license: Experience with developmentally disabled individuals in residential services preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Certification with the Red Cross to teach CPR/First Aid and Mantoux certification preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">No evidence of criminal activity involving a dependent population or any violent criminal activity.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">No evidence of illegal drug use or drug abuse. Must pass drug screen.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Exceptional ability in verbal and written communication, ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships, perform in a team setting and maintain confidentiality.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Local and distance travel required.
