You will lead a team of technicians and engineers to ensure the continuous operation, maintenance, and improvement of the facility&#39;s mechanical infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, expertise in datacenter cooling and HVAC systems, and a proactive approach to managing the facility&#39;s critical environment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Mechanical Systems Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all mechanical systems in the datacenter, including CRAC Units, HVAC cooling systems, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure.</li><li>Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.</li><li>Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.</li><li>Troubleshooting and Repairs: Rapidly respond to mechanical system failures, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and ensure the facility&#39;s reliability.</li><li>Energy Efficiency: Identify and implement energy-efficient strategies to optimize cooling and HVAC systems, reducing operational costs while maintaining industry-leading performance.</li><li>Compliance and Safety: Ensure the facility complies with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices related to mechanical systems and environmental controls.</li><li>Budget and Procurement: Collaborate with the management team to prepare and manage the mechanical department&#39;s budget, including procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts.</li><li>Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to assess the performance of mechanical systems, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance the facility&#39;s efficiency and reliability.</li><li>Project Management: Coordinate and oversee mechanical infrastructure projects, from planning and design to implementation and commissioning.</li><li>Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with equipment vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely support and quality services.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in datacenter facility management, with a focus on mechanical systems.</li><li>Proven experience in managing and leading teams.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of datacenter cooling methodologies, HVAC systems, and environmental controls.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div>\n",
