This position ensures that all participants receive a safe, educational, and engaging experience aligned with company standards of excellence.</p><p>Instructors are also expected to assist in retail sales activities when appropriate and may serve as a Range Safety Officer (RSO) as needed. The Firearms Instructor plays a key role in promoting responsible firearm ownership, safety education, and the Frontier Justice mission of faith, family, and freedom.</p><p><u><strong>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong></u></p><p><strong>Achieves Results</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver all classes in alignment with approved curriculum and instructional objectives.</li><li>Identify current and future client training needs through rapport, observation, and participant feedback.</li><li>Monitor class outcomes through student evaluations and personal assessment to ensure effectiveness and satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain strong practical and theoretical knowledge of firearms, training techniques, and industry trends.</li><li>Support retail and membership sales goals by encouraging continued learning and participation in Frontier Justice programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Excellence</strong></p><ul><li>Comply with all company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards relevant to firearms instruction and range operations.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe range and classroom environment.</li><li>Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating special classes or events as directed.</li><li>Report operational issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the Director of Training promptly.</li><li>Utilize company systems and technology accurately for attendance tracking, class management, and point-of-sale transactions.</li></ul><p><strong>Relationships</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and external trainers utilizing Frontier Justice facilities.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with retail, training, and range staff to ensure seamless client experiences.</li><li>Represent Frontier Justice professionally in all interactions, modeling the company’s values and standards of conduct.</li></ul><p><u><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KEY COMPETENCIES</strong></u></p><ul><li>Expertise in firearms handling, safety, and instructional technique.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead groups effectively and manage classroom dynamics.</li><li>Proficiency in relevant technology, including scheduling platforms and POS systems.</li><li>Physically capable of inspecting, auditing, and safely operating all range and classroom areas.</li><li>Dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain composure in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.</li></ul>",
