    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">                        </span></strong></span></p>\n<p>Facilities Worker</p>\n<p><br>Facilities workers are the front-line for the overall maintenance and improvement of the physical<br>grounds and buildings of Tonto Rim Christian Camp.</p>\n<p><br>Essential Functions</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>1. Repair and maintenance of camp vehicles, facilities, and property<br>2. Landscaping and groundskeeping<br>3. Safe operation of tractors, trucks, trailers, and other vehicles<br>4. Safe operation of various minor equipment and tools</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Additional Functions</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>1. Assisting other departments when facilities-related needs arise i.e. moving furniture,<br>ladder work, heavier lifting, etc.<br>2. Assisting with weather-related issues: snow removal, water damage, roofing issues, etc.<br>3. Other duties as assigned by supervisor</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Major Competency Areas</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>1. Safety first mindset at all times<br>2. Attention to detail<br>3. Ability to organize and maintain a clean work area<br>4. Ability to follow instructions, learn new skills, and accept guidance/supervision<br>5. Background in maintenance or another construction trade is preferred, but not necessary<br>8. Strong aptitude from problem solving</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>1. A growing love of God, though our Lord Jesus Christ, that is consistent with their<br>character<br>2. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent<br>3. Must be able to work some weekends and odd hours, as needed.<br>4. Current driver license<br>5. Agreement with Tonto Rim’s mission-vision-values, doctrinal statement, and compliance<br>with employee handbook</p>\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\n<p>1. Ability to work outside in inclement/extreme weather conditions (hot and cold)<br>2. Must be able to lift 75 pounds<br>3. Ability to stand for long periods of time</p>\n<p>4. Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job, including good balance</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Tasks may include:</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>1. Grounds repairs including mowing, weed whacking, raking, using mechanical blowers,<br>tree removal and clean up, sprinkler system repairs, snow removal, etc.<br>2. Drywall repair including hole patching, texturing, painting, caulking<br>3. Minor electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs<br>4. Minor Roof repairs<br>5. Minor carpentry work. This includes both rough and finish carpentry work<br>6. Minor repair on camp vehicles and equipment<br>7. Occasional use of heavy equipment such as tractors, excavators, snowplows, or dump<br>trucks<br>8. Using mechanized tools and equipment<br>9. Using manual tools and equipment<br>10. Moving bunk beds, furniture, or other heavy items<br>11. Holding heavy items in place<br>12. Lifting and carrying materials and supplies, ladders, hoses, tools, equipment, boxes, bed<br>frames, etc.<br>13. Walking and standing for long periods of time, walking backwards while carrying items<br>14. All beliefs are listed and founded in God's Word, the Bible. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">PREAMBLE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Tonto Rim Christian Camp, in accordance with the historic Baptist tradition, hold to Believers Baptism by Immersion, Liberty of Conscience, the Separation of Church and state, and the Priesthood of the Believer. We also affirm the following distinctive which need emphasis at the present time:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">1.  THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The Bible is the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God and is our sole rule of faith and practice. It is the standard by which all human conduct and creeds should be tried.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">2.  THE TRINITY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">There is only one true and living God who is manifested in three eternal and coequal person; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  God possesses holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, love, mercy, and all other perfections.  All humankind owed to Him supreme faith and obedience.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">3.  HUMANKIND</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Humankind has been created in the image of God but through Adam’s fall is now sinful, lost and condemned. By deliberate choice all participate in sin which is open rebellion to God’s law. Notwithstanding the fall, all human life through creation has value and dignity.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">4.  JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Human beings can be forgiven of sin and justified solely through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ who died for sinners and rose again from the dead.  Only by repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ the Lord can acceptance with God be attained.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">5.  REGENERATION</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Regeneration is the work of the Holy Spirit by which the believer receives a new nature from God. Christian growth or sanctification is the continuation of the new life principle which begins in the new birth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">6.  THE CHURCH</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The church in its widest sense includes all believers of all ages. The church is manifested visibly in the local body of baptized believers who covenant together to worship, observe the ordinances, and evangelize.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">7.  HUMAN DESTINY</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Jesus Christ will eventually return visibly at which time He will raise the dead and judge all people. Believers will enjoy an eternal state of blessedness in heaven while unbelievers will experience eternal separation from God in hell.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">8.  EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL CONCERN</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The church has been called to preach the gospel so that individual people can receive salvation. Also the church is to become involved in the improvement of society by advocating biblical principles which militate against poverty, racism, violence, and all forms of injustice against humankind.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">9.  HUMAN SEXUALITY</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">God’s design is that man and woman either be joined together in a perpetual monogamous relationship or live in a single state. Extra-marital sex, adultery and homosexuality are inconsistent with biblical teaching.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Faith History</strong></span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">At Tonto Rim Christian Camp we desire to have a distinctly Christian atmosphere and influence. Though campers and attendees come from many Christian and non-Christian backgrounds, it is our hope that all who come to TRCC will see, know and experience God while here as guests.
