    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Divisional Headquarters  (Hartford, CT)</p>\n<p><strong>Status: </strong>Full-time, Exempt</p>\n<p><strong>Hours Per Week: </strong>40</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Monday–Friday; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (the schedule may vary depending on the need)</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Scope of Position: </strong> Supports the Social Ministries Director by providing divisional leadership for Pathway of Hope (POH), Service Unit Extensions, Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) initiatives, and disaster social services as needed throughout the Southern New England Division. Ensures programs are mission-driven, trauma-informed, policy-compliant, and delivered with excellence to vulnerable individuals and families.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Advocate for the mission of The Salvation Army and uphold the organization’s values.</li>\n <li>Assist in coordinating monthly case manager and quarterly Service Unit meetings.</li>\n <li>Assist in monitoring budgets, outcomes, and data integrity.</li>\n <li>Assist in overseeing program evaluations, record reviews, and compliance with territorial certification standards.</li>\n <li>Assist in providing supervision, consultation, and technical assistance to Case Managers.</li>\n <li>Assist with Red Kettle and Angel Tree coordination for Service Units.</li>\n <li>Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and job description development.</li>\n <li>Collaborate to develop victim services and referral pathways.</li>\n <li>Conduct audits, program reviews, and compliance monitoring of programs.</li>\n <li>Cultivate partnerships with Service Units, state agencies, and community providers.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential recordkeeping, grant reporting, and data entry.</li>\n <li>Maintain and distribute a current roster of community resources.</li>\n <li>Maintain compliance with Salvation Army policies.</li>\n <li>Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.</li>\n <li>Participate in trainings, workshops, awareness events, and conferences.</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.</li>\n <li>Promote integration of volunteers into Service Units.</li>\n <li>Provide advisory supervision, including site visits and training.</li>\n <li>Provide oversight of Service Units and related social service initiatives.</li>\n <li>Support expansion of Anti-Human Trafficking efforts through training, outreach, and partnerships.</li>\n <li>Support fundraising, grant reporting, data collection, and donor communications.</li>\n <li>Train representatives in intake, assessment, service planning, and referral processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field is required; an MSW or related graduate degree is preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of two years of experience in social services and supervisory case/project management required.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, database experience highly preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the Division are required.</li>\n <li>Experience with the Pathway of Hope program, Service Units, anti-human trafficking, or disaster services preferred.</li>\n <li>Grant writing, fiscal monitoring, and contract compliance experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience serving vulnerable populations preferred.</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.</li>\n <li>Will understand, respect, and promote the interests of The Salvation Army.
