    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><u><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></u><strong>:</strong></p><p><strong>Landscaping &amp; Grounds Maintenance (~70%)</strong></p><p>· Maintain lawns, garden beds, trees, and shrubs, including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning.</p><p>· Manage weeds and bark/mulch areas.</p><p>· Perform seasonal cleanups such as leaf removal, debris clearing, and storm-related cleanup.</p><p>· Maintain walkways, playgrounds, and outdoor common areas.</p><p>· Identify and report irrigation, drainage, or safety issues.</p><p>· Support snow/ice removal as needed.</p><p>· Safely operate Agency vehicles including towing small trailers.</p><p>· Safely operate zero turn mower and other landscaping power tools.</p><p>· Assist the coordination of small water systems, where applicable</p><p>· Collaborate with employees, vendors, contractors, and community partners on projects related to facilities and maintenance</p><p>· Demonstrate current health and safety practices during all projects and work-related tasks</p><p><strong>Facility Maintenance &amp; Repairs (~30%)</strong></p><p>· Perform basic carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and minor repairs</p><p>· Repair or replace hardware, fixtures, shelving, and fencing.</p><p>· Assist with simple plumbing and electrical tasks within skill and code limits.</p><p>· Assemble and install equipment or furnishings.</p><p>· Respond to routine maintenance requests and assist with preventive maintenance activities.</p><p>· Maintain organized, safe workspaces and equipment.</p><p>· Move office and classroom furniture and equipment as needed.</p><p>· Participate in operations and all Agency meetings as required.</p><p>· Support Agency events with event set-up and tear down.</p><p><u><strong>ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS</strong></u><strong>:</strong></p><p><strong>Program Participation and Team Member:</strong></p><ul><li>Arrive to work on time; punctually &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;attend and actively participate in all required activities, meetings, and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;trainings</li><li>Be a respectful, cooperative, and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;reliable team member and participant in program activities</li><li>Project a professional work image, both &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;in dress and manner</li></ul><p>· Be familiar with, and adhere to, position-related policies and procedures as well as the program’s overarching objectives</p><p>· Follow Agency policy/procedures for reporting and documenting suspected child abuse and/or neglect</p><p><strong>Code of Conduct:</strong></p><p>Perform all work in compliance with the Clackamas County Children’s Commission Code of Conduct</p><p><strong>Confidentiality:</strong></p><p>Respect and maintain confidentiality of information regarding enrolled children and families, personnel issues, and other program operations as appropriate</p><p><strong>Training:</strong></p><p>In consultation with supervisor, develop professional work goals and training plan. Participate in training as requested.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><p>· Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance required.</p><p>· Strong knowledge and skills in repair and maintenance of equipment, minor plumbing, minor electrical, furniture, fixtures, appliances, facilities systems, ground and structure, and use of tools common to the trade</p><p>· Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with co-workers, vendors, clients, and the general public</p><p>· Ability to operate a computer for data entry, information retrieval, and timekeeping</p><p>· Ability to positively and respectfully interact with families of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.</p><p>· Ability to safely operate Agency vehicles.</p><p>· Ability to produce a satisfactory driving record for the previous three years that is acceptable to the Agency’s insurance company.</p><p>· Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle available for use on the job (or have alternative transportation).</p><p>· Ability to possess and maintain compliance with State of Oregon Criminal Background Registry.</p><ul><li>Ability to possess and maintain current Pediatric First &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Aid/CPR/AED certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>· Ability to pass a pre-employment physical which will test for:</p><p>o Ability to, without assistance, consistently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds; frequently move items up to 75 pounds</p><p>o Ability to, with assistance, occasionally move items 75 – 100 pounds; seldom move items over 100 pounds</p><p>o Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, sit, stand, twist, and reach</p><p>· This position entails:</p><ul><li>Movement throughout multiple work &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;locations in different buildings. Will need to travel to a city or town &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;other than assigned work location.&nbsp;</li><li>Stand or sit at a workstation &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;frequently during each shift.</li><li>Regular crouching, bending, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;kneeling, standing, twisting, reaching, climbing, working from ladders at &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;various heights, and operating a variety of hand and power tools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Occasionally work in confined spaces or under other adverse conditions &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and complete work under pressure to meet critical time frames.</li><li>Push or pull a cart or hand &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;truck.</li></ul>",
