Description
The Role
Our IT team is growing and we’re currently looking to recruit a 1st Line Support to be the first point of contact for our colleagues’ IT needs. If you enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and working within a collaborative and supportive team, then Atlas is the right place for you. Previous IT experience is helpful, but not essential – we provide full on-the-job training to help you grow. With time, your expertise will become essential to supporting our IT environment and you’ll have the chance to build a career in technology.
About You
You’re approachable, patient, and enjoy helping others, have good communication skills and an eye for detail. You find teamwork motivating and are eager to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries (phone, email, helpdesk).
Accurately log incidents and service requests in the helpdesk system.
Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network issues.
Provide support for Microsoft 365, email, user accounts, and password resets.
Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd Line Support or relevant teams with detailed documentation.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication with end users.
Follow IT policies and procedures, including security and data protection.
Job Requirements
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems.
Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues.
Previous IT support experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
