    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>Custom Truck &amp; Auto, part of the Custom family of companies, is looking for a hard-working, dedicated <strong>Truck (Diesel) Technician</strong> to join our experienced vehicle service team. In this role, you will perform a variety of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair services. Teamwork, leadership skills, safety and a customer focused attitude are keys to success in this role. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>Perform Vehicle Maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies.</p><p>Based upon certification levels, perform other various repairs and maintenance which may include:</p><p>Install batteries and checks electrical systems.</p><p>Install and perform tire maintenance.</p><p>OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, electrical systems, State Safety Inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drive line components, etc.</p><p>Ability to road test vehicles.</p><p>Ability to install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems.</p><p>Handle and dispose of all fluids as defined by MSDS and in accordance with all Federal, State and local regulations.</p><p>Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records as defined/directed by management.</p><p>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</p><p>Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology</p><p>Keeping store management aware of building and equipment mechanical repair problems as they occur</p><p>Consistently taking the extra steps needed to achieve customer satisfaction</p><p>Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists</p><p>Maintain a clean, safe job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p><p>Experience in vehicle service and repair shop.</p><p><strong>Preferred Education and Experience</strong></p><p>1-3 years of experience servicing medium to heavy duty trucks</p><p>RV repair experience is a plus</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
