    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>DEL REY</strong> is seeking a passionate <strong>Training Developer &amp; Technical Writer</strong> possesses strong expertise in translating complex technical maritime concepts into clear, concise documentation and training materials. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, meticulous editing, and the development of instructional and operational guidance for maritime operations.</p><p>This position offers a salary in the range of $75-85k based on numerous factors, including degree and overall experience.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>Conduct interviews and technical briefings with maritime personnel, engineers, and subject matter experts to collect accurate information.</p><p>Produce and maintain manuals, technical documents, training guides, and policy documents that align with maritime standards and regulatory requirements.</p><p>Edit and refine technical content, ensuring compliance with organizational style guides and readability standards.</p><p>Evaluate existing communications and recommend improvements for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness.</p><p>Develop and update training materials and documentation to support operational readiness and regulatory compliance.</p><p>Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Experience with one of the following LMS tools or similar: AIM II, CPM LOM, LEAD, CDS Salefsforce.</p><p>Three years of experience in:</p><p>a) Collaborating with technical customer to understand and accurately document complex technical concepts;</p><p>b) Editing and proofreading existing documentation for accuracy and readability;</p><p>c) Providing analysis and recommendations for communications;</p><p>d) Developing written products (e.g. informational materials, operating procedures, and policy) based on information provided by stakeholders.</p><p>If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, seven years of experience related to technical writing would be considered equivalent. Three of these seven years should demonstrate experience in &ldquo;a&rdquo; through &ldquo;d&rdquo;.</p><p><br></p><p>A minimum of 100 hours of curriculum development experience is desired.</p><p>A Master Training Specialist certification or equivalent is desired.</p><p>A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.</p><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>COMPANY OVERVIEW</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>DEL REY Systems &amp; Technology, Inc.
