Description

Overview Kids club staff will provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children of members while they work out at the YMCA. This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position. Responsibilities Ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of the children. Keep accurate attendance records and submit monthly reports to the supervisor. Communicate children’s concerns with parents. Clean and disinfect the designated area at the end of shift. Knowledge of all Safety and Emergency procedures. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Current certification in Standard First Aid and Safety and Community CPR. 6 months to 1-year previous experience working with children under the age of 7.
