This is a dynamic opportunity to grow your career while contributing to the success of a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support departmental initiatives aligned with site safety and quality standards</li>\n <li>Partner with management to drive efficient operations, continuous improvement, and departmental growth</li>\n <li>Supervise and mentor technical staff, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of testing services</li>\n <li>Oversee daily lab operations with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction</li>\n <li>Serve as a key contact for clients, providing responsive communication, status updates, and support during on-site visits</li>\n <li>Collaborate with internal experts and support teams to define testing scopes and ensure successful project execution</li>\n <li>Contribute to preparation of accurate, timely quotations and assist with complex proposals</li>\n <li>Support supervisory functions including hiring input, performance feedback, scheduling, and staff development</li>\n <li>Translate client needs into actionable testing plans that deliver reliable results and regulatory compliance</li>\n <li>Champion a culture of safety and adherence to all Element quality and compliance standards</li>\n <li>Contribute to project management and operational excellence initiatives as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and college level courses completed or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in an industry similar or related to the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry with a diploma or GED certificate preferred</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of laboratory safety</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills and basic mathematical skills with the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to lift <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion and stand on feet for long periods of time</li>\n <li>Ability to work primarily alone and make independent decisions during the course of the work day</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate and demonstrate the importance of meeting all applicable requirements of assigned department</li>\n <li>Proven ability to read, understand and interpret program or test requirements and have ability to analyse and translate into finished testing or report data</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette</li>\n <li>Proficient skill in word processing and spreadsheet software</li>\n <li>High impact of experience on the business at the local commercial, technical and operational level </li>\n <li>Proven and recognized ability to provide accurate and timely status reports to internal and external customers</li>\n <li>Ability to track multiple testing jobs / programs from start to finish and assist with contract review of job status daily, including follow-up emails and phone calls daily to and from internal and external customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-TK1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
