Evening, weekend, and holiday calls required. Scheduling flexibility needed.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Working conditions:</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Some work is performed in a normal office environment, other service-provider conditions environment, or other professional environment. Some work within the community, in high-vulnerability locations. Work duties may, on rare occasions, be performed in an environment requiring exposure to weather extremes, fumes, odors, bodily fluids, and noise. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Travel:</span></span> <span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This position requires frequent travel within the immediate area and occasional travel in or out of state for client transportation or training.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Job Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Respond to calls from law enforcement and other referral sources when on call; arrive at the survivor’s location within the required time frame</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Meet immediate physical needs - clothes, food, toiletries, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provide ongoing field-based advocacy, case management, and emotional support</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Independently coordinate referrals, service planning, and documentation of services for assigned caseload</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop service plans, and make independent decisions in the field regarding the safety and well-being of assigned clients</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provide transportation to appointments and services as needed and as feasible</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Meet with each assigned survivor every other week if in town; meet with survivors placed out-of-town monthly; maintain communication through other means in between weekly meetings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">In collaboration with the client, help create and update safety plans</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Attend CPS case staffings and MDT emergency response meetings and scheduled staffings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Document all interactions with survivors and partner agencies within 72 hours</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Build and maintain good relationships with organizations that provide services relevant to trafficking survivors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Alert supervisor when difficult situations arise</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Recognize red flag behavior and report to supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Convey a service-oriented approach: </span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Communicate an eagerness to be helpful, starting with every referral, initial contact, and/or initial engagement and continuing through service delivery, with all stakeholders. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provide those seeking assistance with help, even when they are ineligible for advocate services or are seeking something outside Unbound Now’s scope. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">When referring someone, offer a warm handoff to others whenever possible. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Balance the limitations of the advocate role with being resourceful, including seeking help from others as needed. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Be consistent, reliable, and flexible. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Collaborate actively in support of partners’ objectives.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensure case management in collaboration with ongoing system and service- or investigation-based case management, continuing case management beyond others’ eligibility parameters. Ensure that case management is carried out in a manner that is relationship-based, trauma-responsive, and survivor-centered.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Commit to in-person meetings with your supervisor every other week.
