Join us.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p>We’re looking for a Toolmaker who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys variety in their day, and wants to contribute directly to product innovation to join our R&D team at our Innovation Center in Rosemount. The Toolmaker looks at a sketch, visualizes the finished part, and knows exactly how to bring the product to life.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret Specifications: Study sketches, models, and descriptions to determine materials, machining approach, and sequence of operations.</li>\n <li>Plan & Build Tooling: Compute dimensions, plan layouts, determine assembly methods, and build tooling to spec within scheduled timelines. </li>\n <li>Operate CNC & Manual Machines: Run lathes, CNC mills, grinders, cutting tables, and other shop equipment with precision.</li>\n <li>Verify & Improve Designs: Check dimensions, alignment, and clearances; recommend des</li>\n <li>modifications based on function and manufacturability</li>\n <li>Repair, Modify & Prototype: Fabricate prototypes, construct fixtures, sharpen tools, and machine close‑tolerance parts.</li>\n <li>Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.</li>\n <li>Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with the Prototype Shop Manager and use Wrike to track timelines and updates.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>What We're Looking For </h2>\n<p>This position requires a High school Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 2-5 years of experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Other qualifications include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of MasterCam and SolidWorks</li>\n <li>Ability to resolve day-to-day issues by working effectively with others</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills including competence in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li>\n <li>Ability to receive, understand, and follow all written and oral instructions</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We’ll Provide</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A reasonable estimate of the <strong>pay range is $32-38 per hour </strong>at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training.
