    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Nemours is seeking a Simulation Education Specialist to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. &nbsp;This is a 30 hr/week position.</strong></p>\n<p>The Simulation Education Specialist will help facilitate daily operations of the Nemours Institute for Clinical Excellence Simulation Center by:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serving as a mentor and educator to healthcare providers and home caregiver teams</li>\n <li>Creating, preparing, and coordinating simulation scenarios for use with advanced simulation equipment</li>\n <li>Instructing course facilitators in simulation-based education principles and the use of simulation equipment&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conducting routine equipment maintenance, inventory updates and recommendations for new equipment purchases</li>\n <li>Scheduling and tracking Center usage</li>\n <li>Conducting regular evaluations and critique of programs, soliciting recommendations from both internal and external users</li>\n <li>Creating innovative curricula and identifying opportunities to integrate continuous improvement concepts and technology into healthcare education</li>\n <li>Maintaining professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Teaching AHA courses and ENA courses (if applicable)</li>\n <li>Assisting Medical Director of Simulation and Senior Simulation Education Specialist, Nemours Institute for Clinical Excellence as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Degree is required; Bachelor Degree is preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) or Respiratory Therapist is required.</li>\n <li>Minimum one year of educator experience is required.</li>\n <li>Delaware RN or RRT license required.</li>\n <li>American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.</li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred licensures/certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification</li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor certification</li>\n <li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor certification</li>\n <li>Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-EP1</p>",
