    "description": "<h2></h2>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build, maintain, and grow a book of business</li>\n <li>Manage agency relationships and serve as lead client contact</li>\n <li>Create and execute marketing plan to increase new and renewal business</li>\n <li>Rate and quote each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for large or complex renewals as well as new business</li>\n <li>Develop and submit referrals to company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox management  </li>\n <li>Monitor key metrics to formulate corrective action impacting new business hit, renewal retention, premium growth, and loss ratio</li>\n <li>Lead, train, and develop Associate Brokers</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  </li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of Property brokerage experience required, excess & surplus experience preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing</li>\n <li>Proven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Interest in continued education and professional development </li>\n <li>Insurance license, CIC or comparable designations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Compensation Package:</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible, hybrid & remote options</li>\n <li>Health benefits & 401K with employer match</li>\n <li>Employer paid continuing education courses and designations</li>\n <li>Many opportunities for career advancement</li>\n <li>Salary range $130,000-$200,000/Annually + bonus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Our Company</h2>\n<p>Burns & Wilcox, the flagship organization of H.W.
