    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Wiring Design Release Engineer is a key position responsible for designing and battery pack internal electrical connectivity systems for internal ABS and external customer products.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead harness topology and partitioning.</li><li>Package components and collaborate with other systems within the application.</li><li>Optimize harness complexity across product lines to leverage standardization &amp; modularity.</li><li>Lead coding of all circuits.</li><li>Complete electrical connectivity design for a batter system including Wire-list and DEF files for composite harness design, Load analysis.&nbsp;</li><li>Review and anticipate voltage drop calculations circuit sizing.</li><li>In-line connector pin count determination and circuit protection.</li><li>Collaborate with Systems Engineers and BMS Hardware Engineers to ensure all internal and customer-specific requirements are met.</li><li>Track and report on program progress to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner.</li><li>Support pre-launch builds as well as product launches.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Predictable and reliable attendance.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Adhere to federal and state regulations.</li><li>Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Predictable and reliable attendance.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering required.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of four (4) years of wiring experience within the Automotive Industry.</li><li>Experience designing &amp; specifying wire harnesses, flexible printed circuits (FPC), and automotive low- and high-voltage connector systems.</li><li>Understanding of design best practices for wire routings, fixations, shielding &amp; grounding</li><li>Understanding of common industry standards governing connector and wire harness design and manufacturing&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to interface with connector, PDC, vehicle architecture, and systems engineers to manage all electrical aspects of the wiring design.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communications.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Decision Making &amp; Analysis:</strong> Makes sound decisions based upon a mixture of data-driven analysis, expertise, experience, and judgment; collects relevant information, seeks input from others, and identifies connections and/or root causes of problems.</li><li><strong>Continual Improvement:</strong> Displays a consistent orientation toward producing the highest quality products or services, while keeping a focus on sustainability.
