    "description": "<h2><strong>CT / Radiologic Technologist</strong></h2>\n\n<p><strong>Department:</strong> Diagnostic Imaging<br />\n<strong>Status:</strong> Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | 40+ Hours per Week<br />\n<strong>FLSA:</strong> Non-Exempt<br />\n<strong>On-Call:</strong> Yes &ndash; 30-minute response time required<br />\n<strong>Reports To:</strong> Manager &ndash; Diagnostic Imaging<br />\n<strong>Location:</strong> Pagosa Springs Medical Center &ndash; Pagosa Springs, CO</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3>\n\n<p>Pagosa Springs Medical Center is seeking a skilled and versatile <strong>CT / Radiologic Technologist</strong> to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.</p>\n\n<p>This dual-modality position performs high-quality <strong>CT and general radiographic imaging procedures</strong>, including fluoroscopy and C-arm support in the OR. Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager and in collaboration with Radiologists and providers, the technologist delivers safe, accurate, and patient-centered imaging services.</p>\n\n<p>The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to patient safety, quality imaging, and collaborative teamwork in a rural hospital environment.</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n\n<h4><strong>CT Imaging</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Perform diagnostic CT examinations using appropriate positioning and technical parameters</li>\n\t<li>Initiate IV access and administer contrast per protocol under Radiologist supervision</li>\n\t<li>Complete CT contrast consents and assess allergies, kidney function, and contraindications</li>\n\t<li>Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and reformat images as required</li>\n\t<li>Follow the Seven Rights of Medication Administration</li>\n\t<li>Perform CT quality control procedures per manufacturer guidelines</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>Radiologic Imaging</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Perform general radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy</li>\n\t<li>Operate C-Arm in the Operating Room as needed</li>\n\t<li>Perform portable imaging across multiple hospital departments</li>\n\t<li>Assist Radiologists and providers with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>General Duties</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Verify orders for appropriateness and clarify with providers as needed</li>\n\t<li>Use at least two patient identifiers for every encounter</li>\n\t<li>Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record</li>\n\t<li>Ensure correct charge capture for each case</li>\n\t<li>Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly</li>\n\t<li>Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards</li>\n\t<li>Participate in cross-training of staff and students</li>\n\t<li>Assist with departmental inventory and supply management</li>\n\t<li>Support National Patient Safety Goals and universal precautions</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>Join a Hospital That Feels Like Family &ndash; In a Town That Feels Like Home&nbsp;</strong></h3>\n\n<p><strong>Pagosa Springs Medical Center</strong> is an award-winning, independent Critical Access Hospital serving the residents and visitors of Archuleta County and the surrounding region.
