The Attorney provides legal advice, counsel and litigation services.</span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Essential Job Requirements</span></h2></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.04999999999999999in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ensures proper legal representation in all child support matters related to paternity and support order establishment and enforcement</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Negotiates with opposing counsel, attends hearings, and performs other related actions</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Recommends and reviews legal actions</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Drafts, reviews, and signs legal documents</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ensures all orders contain required federal and state elements and vigorously advocates the interests of the state</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Updates automated systems with necessary information to monitor each case through the legal process</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Provides legal advice to Specialists in completing documents for court filing</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintains a positive working relationship with State</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Attends weekly project team meeting</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Applies knowledge of federal and state child support policies and procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Regular and timely attendance</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Required Education</span></h2></div><p style=\"margin-left:.2in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in the state where the project is located.</span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Required Experience</span></h2></div><p style=\"margin-left:.2in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Legal experience in domestic relations law or as a prosecutor is desired (child support enforcement preferred).</span></p></div>\n",
