Calibration may include temperature, relative humidity, CO2, voltage, pressure, time, rotation, etc. following documented procedures using precision standards. Calibrations and Preventative Maintenance will be performed in-house and at customer sites. Create, modify, and execute calibration procedures and calibration certificates. Perform testing to support the quality management system and report, troubleshoot and make recommendations about quality issues relating to calibration. Assist in filing, data entry, and general record keeping.</p>\n<h2>On-Site Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>100% on-site position with 90% traveling to customer sites.</li>\n <li>1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform equipment and instrumentation calibration.</li>\n <li>Initiate remediation forms when customer equipment issues arise.</li>\n <li>Submit expense reports on time.</li>\n <li>Accurately track time spent at a customer site, traveling, and completing paperwork.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with fellow technicians and customers.</li>\n <li>Understand interval and tolerance relating to calibration.</li>\n <li>Update the calibration database/equipment history.</li>\n <li>Report questionable calibration results to supervisor for evaluation and determination.</li>\n <li>Abide by ISO 17025 principles.</li>\n <li>Maintain good housekeeping practices.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required. Military, Technical School, or Associate’s Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Gain or maintain industry knowledge through training and seminars.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Office Products especially Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Electronic, electrical, and mechanical skills.</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong reporting skills.</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Honesty, integrity and confidentiality. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Travel Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Offsite local travel is required weekly. </li>\n <li>May have opportunity to travel to other Alcami locations (i.e. NC, SC)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands and Work Environment</h2>\n<p>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. You will regularly work in a lab and office environment, occasionally work in wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high places, near fumes or airborne particles, in outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), and be at risk of electrical shock and vibration. This position works with a moderate noise level.</p>\n<p> </p>Pay Range The base hourly pay range for this position is $21.54 – $25.41\n<strong> </strong>per hour. Actual base salary will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, competencies, and experience, and upon joining Alcami will be reviewed periodically.
