The Nutrition Provider is responsible for supporting clients in making food an important part of their recovery journey through 1:1 interventions such nutrition counseling, dietary assessment, nutrition education, food journaling, meal planning, food preparation and cooking skills development, and tours of local food spaces (e.g., farmer’s markets, grocery stores, food pantries).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">**Approximately 80% of current client referrals are requesting in-home services, meaning that a significant portion of the workday involves travel within Milwaukee county for in-home sessions.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIRED:</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Bachelor’s degree.</span> Must be a graduate of an accredited clinical nutritionist program (Nutritionist, Dietitian, Eating Disorder Specialist, Kinesiology Degree depending on school and # of credits in nutrition, or Nutrition and Dietetic Technician Registered (NDTR)).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At least one year of experience as a nutritionist, dietitian, or nutrition counselor (or similar role) preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At least one year of experience related to healthcare, mental health, psychology, or social work preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Excellent professional communication and customer service skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently with solid organization and time management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Professional work experience related to mental health and healthcare is a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_usk0zU5WYLa4yNnwkOeaYZjQIYhH3E-EtVtxgmCdd8/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to access the full Nutrition Provider job description.</a></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At Ascent Wellness Program, we know that the way we treat our providers ripples out into the services our clients receive, so our culture is one that values community, open communication, acceptance, and support.
