We are a career destination with nearly 6,000 colleagues who reflect the diversity of our community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>TMH is the region’s healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region’s only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center</li>\n <li>Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center</li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care</li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care</li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, four residency programs and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices.</p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads the Pharmacy-Cancer Center team (department 7072).</li>\n <li> Coordinates, monitors, supervises pharmacy services (e.g., human resources, medication systems, and pharmaceutical care) to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care provision meeting all federal, state, and local laws and regulations is provided. </li>\n <li>Provides leadership in optimal product sterile preparation, medication dosing, and providing patient-specific drug information (e.g., patient-specific dosing). </li>\n <li>Works with the oncology leadership team and staff members constantly to innovate high-quality, cost-effective pharmacy services delivery methods. </li>\n <li>Plans and develops customer-focused pharmacy systems and services to meet the medical enterprise’s changing needs. </li>\n <li>Manges and develops staff members to ensure competency and growth. </li>\n <li>Manages the Pharmacy-Cancer Center’s budget, including volumes, drugs, and personnel expenses. </li>\n <li>Aides in preventing medication errors and adverse drug reactions. </li>\n <li>Displays an understanding of diversity. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). </li>\n <li>Enhances and contributes empathetically to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. </li>\n <li>Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Prog/Specialty Pharm Mgr 340B (job code: (JC): 221201)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pharmacist (JC: 021702) </li>\n <li>Pharmacy Technician IV/Cert (JC: 072705)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited pharmacy school.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) years of relevant pharmacist experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year of supervisory experience.  </li>\n <li>Advanced pharmacy management skills.  </li>\n <li>Intermediate level leadership skills.  </li>\n <li>Intermediate level compliance skills.  </li>\n <li>Intermediate level operations planning skills.  </li>\n <li>Intermediate level personnel management skills.  </li>\n <li>Novice level quality management skills.  </li>\n <li>Novice level business skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to stand for prolonged periods.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed [or eligible for licensure (i.e., meets all statutory requirements for Florida licensure application)] as a pharmacist per Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulations of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 465 (Pharmacy), Sections 007 through 013</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
