font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using JVM technologies such as Java or Kotlin, and Spring Boot.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop integration layers with third-party insurance and assurance providers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Build systems supporting the full Trip Protection lifecycle, including eligibility, quoting, purchase, servicing, claims, cancellations, and refunds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Design clean, maintainable, observable, and testable software using sound software engineering principles and design patterns.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create APIs and backend workflows consumed by multiple internal and external partners.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong backend engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong proficiency in JVM-based technologies, where Java and Kotlin are preferred, and Spring Boot.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience designing and building APIs and integrations between distributed systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience working with cloud-native architectures in public or hybrid cloud environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong understanding of microservices, asynchronous processing, and service-oriented architectures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
