    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <div>\n   The Assistant Controller is accountable for a broad range of accounting topics and processes for the NASP and Corporate segments, and reports to the Segment Controller – NASP/Corp. • NASP is a $2B business, which manufactures various metal and plastic packaging products, including paint cans, aerosol containers and other applications. • The Corp segment includes the Corporate headquarters for Global Mauser, a $5B multinational packaging organization. Corp HQ includes various corporate departments and services.\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <div>\n   <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n    <div>\n     <p>Areas of accounting responsibility encompass all topics existing in NASP/Corp, including Revenue, Inventory, Expenditures, among other accounting topics of a manufacturing business.&nbsp;In addition to technical accounting expertise, process and control proficiency is critical.&nbsp; This role is expected to identify improvement opportunities and take initiative to drive those improvements.&nbsp; This also includes leading broader initiatives that transcend NASP/Corp, such as process harmonization and shared service expansion.</p>\n     <p>Candidate must exhibit communication, leadership and influencing skills, both with direct reports and also with peers across the organization.&nbsp; We expect this individual to be driven, with an appetite to increase scope in department through leveraged efficiency gains.&nbsp; Candidate must approach work with both a strategic and tactical mindset, seeking to implement better methods while also meeting the immediate deliverables.&nbsp;</p>\n     <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Manage full cycle month-end close process for NASP/Corp including oversight of 3 senior accountants.&nbsp;This includes:\n       <ul>\n        <li>Technical and process ownership of accounting (Revenue, Inventory, Expenditures)</li>\n        <li>Collaborate with business leaders to assess accounting implications of various business situations (e.g., customer contracts or rebates, leases, etc.)</li>\n        <li>Oversee and review judgmental reserves&nbsp;</li>\n        <li>Balance sheet reconciliations</li>\n       </ul></li>\n      <li>Lead FP&amp;A for Corporate departments, including oversight of one FP&amp;A analyst.</li>\n      <li>Support external audit process</li>\n      <li>Investigation and explanation of results and variances</li>\n      <li>Various ad-hoc topics, analysis, and special projects</li>\n      <li>Continually seek to drive continuous improvement and efficiency on behalf of NASP/Corp and Mauser organization</li>\n     </ul>\n     <p>&nbsp;</p>\n     <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting.</li>\n      <li>Graduate level degree preferred (MBA, Master of Accounting)</li>\n      <li>8+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close oversight and BS/PL Analytics</li>\n      <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;Enjoys agitating status quo.</li>\n      <li>Large ERP system experience is preferred (SAP in particular)</li>\n      <li>Strong Excel skills a must, strong data analytics</li>\n      <li>Strong attention to detail required</li>\n      <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n      <li>Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred</li>\n      <li>CPA certification preferred</li>\n     </ul>\n    </div>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
